jQuery is a powerful JavaScript library that is essential to the PowerSchool customization process.  We use it to add/remove features from PowerSchool pages, fetch data from other pages and insert it where we need it, and modify existing pages to look how we want them to.  With the introduction of insertion points and page fragments, jQuery is THE way to customize PowerSchool so your changes are future-proofed and compatible with future versions.  We will talk about selectors, iterators, DOM manipulation, AJAX, and the anonymous function.
